Chocolate Dipped Satsuma Slices

Ingredients
5 or 6
Satsuma mandarin oranges
1/2 to 3/4 cup
Semi-sweet chocolate or dark chocolate chips
1 teaspoon
Coarse sea salt
Step by Step Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and carefully peel the oranges. Remove all the pith and stray veins from the outside of the slices, then set slices aside on paper towels to dry.
- Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave for 15 seconds at a time in a microwave safe bowl, stirring each time until smooth and fully melted.
- OR melt the chocolate chips on low heat in a double boiler for about 5 minutes until melted and smooth, using a spatula to stir.
- Dip each satsuma slice halfway into the melted chocolate, then place them onto the baking sheet. Sprinkle them each with salt, then refrigerate for 10 minutes before serving/consuming.
